Let The Holidays Begin!

Saturday December 7th the town of Volcano will be decorated in full Holiday cheer, the Mother Lode Scots will be in town, and we will be offering a complementary hot beverage to each person that donates an unwrapped toy to the Amador County Sheriff's Toy Drive. Box for donation located at the Union.

Candlelight Christmas Walk

December 7th - 5:30PM

Volcano Armory

Volcano, CA

The procession gathers outside the Armory at 5:30 or whenever it is dark enough (ie shortly after 5:30). Pipers leading the procession through the village of Volcano to St. Bernard's Parish where the Priest will give the Christmas Blessing in Scots Gaelic. The procession will then return to the Armory of some warming soups, stews, home made breads and desserts.

Christmas Carols will be sang, Highland Dancing and Breton Cape Dancing will be performed. And a bagpipe or two will be played
